New junior agent at CLA


After announcing her new position on Instagram in June, last week Context Literary wrote: “Celsie is open to queries! 🥳 Check out what she’s looking for…👀

“I’m looking for unique voices, atmospheric stories that pull you under from the very first page, and worlds that feel as intimate as they are expansive.” @celsiemoseley

Celsie Moseley’s MSWL says: “In kidlit, I’m seeking whimsical and heartfelt MG and high concept YA fiction.” To see her Books I Love and Books I Wish I rep’D lists, check the MSWL page on her website.

Under Celsie Moseley’s name on the submissions page on the agency website, it say, “If that sounds like your manuscript, please send a short description, short bio, and 5-10 pages of text pasted into the body of the email. I do not open attachments.”

New associate agent at Bookends Literary

Last week Bookends Literary wrote on Instagram: 👏🏼Beyond excited to announce that @sophiesheumaker has earned the title of Associate Literary Agent!

At the top of Sophie Sheumaker‘s MSWL page it says: Middle Grade | YA | Adult | Illustrators 

The detailed MSWL lists that follow explain what she is and is NOT looking for in Middle Grade and YA/Adult fiction.

Although all of the client books on her agency page are picture books, that age category is not a genre choice on her QueryTracker page where it also says: “I reply to all queries and aim to do so in a timely manner.”
