In July, Hannah Teachout wrote on Instagram: “so excited to officially announce that i’ve been promoted to literary agent at @folioliterary and celebrating by opening to queries TODAY!”

Her page at Folio Literary says that she “began as an intern at Folio in 2023.”

On her Publishers Marketplace page it says: “I love a good adventure on and off the page, but especially the stories that dig into themes of identity and explore the metaphors of magic and monsters. I work on Middle Grade, Young Adult, and Adult fiction across genres and love a speculative or romantic bent and distinct voice.”

There are also “Titles/authors I’ve loved” and “A few super-specific things I’d love to see” as well as a note at the bottom of the Publishers Marketplace page that says: “I strive to respond to all submissions, but if you have not heard back in 8 weeks you may consider it a pass.”
