The tone is lighthearted and conversational, including words like \u2018bro\u2019 and \u2018righteous\u2019.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Dude, I am Ocean.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The tone might be light, but the facts are deep. For example, did you know that more people have visited space than the deepest parts of the ocean?<\/p>\n<p>David Litchfield\u2019s illustrations are as big and vibrant as the ocean itself. They are packed full of emotion and creativity. To coincide with the first person voice, the ocean has a floating face with eyes, nose, and mouth.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, <em>Ocean!<\/em> represents a new \u201cwave\u201d of picture books that push the boundary between fiction and nonfiction in interesting ways.
