In August 2011, she created a new blog meme logo:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.asuen.com\/images\/stemfriday.tiny.jpg?w=525\" alt=\"STEM Friday\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It&#8217;s STEM Friday! (<strong>STEM<\/strong> is <strong>S<\/strong>cience, <strong>T<\/strong>echnology, <strong>E<\/strong>ngineering, and <strong>M<\/strong>athematics)<\/p>\n<p>Other bloggers asked to participate in STEM Friday and new blog round-up meme was born! Each week a different blogger hosted the round-up.\u00a0After teachers and librarians asked us to host the roundup in one place (making it easier to find) we moved to the <a href=\"https:\/\/stemfriday.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WordPress.com site<\/a> in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, a new <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booklistonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Booklist<\/a><\/em> editor\u00a0asked Anastasia to start a new <em>Focus on STEM<\/em> column for <a href=\"http:\/\/booklistonline.com\/GeneralInfo.aspx?id=64\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Booklist&#8217;s Quick Tips for Schools and Libraries<\/em><\/a> newsletter.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1518 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/asuen.com\/nonfictionmonday\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/QTheader2018.png?resize=525%2C162&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"162\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In October 2018, the STEM Friday bloggers moved to this new ad-free site. As new social media was created, however, people migrated to those new platforms and stopped blogging.<\/p>\n<p>After 21 years of sharing new STEM #kidlit books, Anastasia Suen retired from <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.booklistonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Booklist<\/a><\/em> in May 2025. The following year, she began sharing the activities she had created for <a href=\"https:\/\/asuen.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> her own (400+) books<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Anastasia Suen is a bookstore affiliate<\/strong> for <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3cgghel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/bookshop.org\/lists\/anastasia-suen-s-books\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bookshop<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bookshop is an online bookstore with a mission to financially support local, independent bookstores.
