It reminds me of the time my youngest insisted there \u201cmight be otters\u201d in our little stream and so we hiked the length of it \u2013 finding crayfish, insects, mammal tracks, birds \u2026 but no otter! And there\u2019s a wonderful poem about the heron that \u201cmeasures the morning in slow, perfect strides\u201d \u2013 which perfectly captures the heron that stalks the river\u2019s edge nearby.<\/p>\n<p>I love Ruth Harper\u2019s artwork.
