Booktalk: Isabella has lots of questions about the world. She asks her grandma, “Why does the sea stop at the sand?” and “What keeps the moon from falling out of the sky?” and “Who paints the clouds?” But maybe Isabella doesn’t need to have all the answers. Maybe it’s enough to simply appreciate the amazing world around her.

Snippet:

Little by little, the daylight began to fade.
The moon was already outlined in the sky.

Then Grandma smiled at the moon and
exclaimed, “Thank you, Moon! Thank you!”

“Thank you! Thank you!” the little girl
exclaimed with a smile.
