Booktalk: Profiling 100 of the most beloved episodes since the show first broadcast in 1963, this book is filled with original art from fan artists and professional artists alike, as well as in-depth episode information from the era of the First Doctor to the Twelfth.

NaNoWriMo Notes: One of my writing mantras is that reading the books in the library will help you write your own book. I wanted to share this book as a followup to my NaNoWriMo writing workshops.

How will this book help you write yours? In addition to the amazing art, there is a three to five paragraph summary of all 100 episodes. Plotters can use it as a guide to their writing their book summary and pansters can use it as a guide to write the synopsis for their cover letter . . . when they send out their completed novel in the new year.

Moonrise

Moonrise
by Sarah Crossan (Author)

Booktalk: Seventeen-year-old Joe hasn’t seen his brother in ten years. Ed didn’t walk out on the family, not exactly. It’s something more brutal.

Ed’s locked up — on death row.

Now his execution date has been set, and the clock is ticking. Joe is determined to spend those last weeks with his brother, no matter what other people think … and no matter whether Ed committed the crime. But did he? And does it matter, in the end?

Snippet:
RESPONSIBLE
They charged Ed as an adult,
locked him up and
sentenced him to die
three years before
anyone thought
he was old enough
to buy beer in a bar.
