Peep and Egg: I’m Not Hatching

Booktalk: Peep wants Egg to hatch so they can do fun things together, like watch the sunrise, splash in puddles, and play hide-and-seek.
But Egg is not cracking…
Snippet: “Are you hatching yet?” Peep asked. “We’re going to have so much fun once you hatch!”
“Too scary,” said Egg. “I’m not hatching.”
